Pakistan completed their first innings on 378 runs, where Agha Salman showed his batting and took the team to a strong position with 87 runs. Mohammad Rizwan also played a brilliant partnership by scoring more than 70 runs.
At one point it seemed that Pakistan would not even reach 300 runs, but the brilliant batting of Salman and Rizwan supported the team and changed the map of the match.

Pakistan’s bowlers, especially Shaheen Shah Afridi and Hasan Ali, kept a good line and length. Wickets kept on falling at regular intervals, but it would be very important for Pakistan to take early wickets the next morning.
