Pakistan vs South Africa – 2nd Test, Day 3: Mithusamy and Rabada shine, Babar Azam struggles

Day 3 began with South Africa dominating – even though the innings looked in danger last night.
But Muthusamy (S. Muthusamy) played a brilliant innings to save his team.
South Africa completed 200 runs in the morning (72 overs),
And then the reviews started up again.
First the stubs were “Struck Down,” then the reviews of Harmer and Muthusamy were also lost.
Pakistan’s bowlers worked hard, but South Africa’s lower-order batting surprised everyone.
Muthusamy and Maharaj put up a great fight back.
The 50-run partnership between the two was made in just 55 balls.
South Africa were 285/8 at lunch.
Muthusamy was batting on 48 and Maharaj on 23.
Soon Muthusamy completed his fifty (off 88 balls).
And when Rabada came on the field, the whole mood changed!
Kagiso Rabada scored fifty runs in just 38 balls (3 fours, 3 sixes).
A brilliant, fast-paced innings that caught Pakistan off guard.
Muthusamy was dismissed for 89, and South Africa’s innings was completed at 404.
It was a wonderful return. – Especially when at one point they were in trouble at 221/7.
Pakistan’s second innings: Babar’s lone resistance
Pakistan’s second innings began in dramatic fashion.
In the beginning, despite Imam-ul-Haq’s review, “Struck Down” (Umpire’s Call),
Shan Masood didn’t last long.
Pakistan were in trouble at 55/3.
But Babar Azam once again led from the front.
He batted with confidence.
And although it was reviewed twice, both times it was saved.
At the end of the day, Pakistan were 94/4 (35 overs).
Babar Azam was unbeaten on 49 while Mohammad Rizwan was on 16.
Match Analysis
Day 3 was entirely in the name of South Africa’s lower-order batting and Babar Azam’s resistance.
Muthusamy saved the team from becoming a sunken ship,
While Rabada surprised Pakistan with his aggressive batting.
All eyes are now on Day 4. – If Babar and Rizwan form a big partnership,
